J + L in Indie Game the Movie, Spanish, steam, update, update

Today a new Steam update went out for IGTM.  The update includes a few menu tweaks, fixes some bugs, but most importantly includes some new languages!

The following subtitled languages are included in the latest edition of the Steam version of Indie Game: The Movie:

English, English (descriptive), French, Italian, Spanish (Latin American), Portuguese (Brazil), Traditional Chinese, German, Thai, Hebrew, Turkish, Czech, Dutch, Arabic and Russian.

You can get the Steam version of the film here.  And of course all of the above languages are also available DRM-free directly from us, the filmmakers, as well.

The new languages, in fact all of the non-English languages are courtesy of generous volunteers from around the world.  We have them listed here.  If you are one of the people benefiting from their multilingual talents, we very much encourage you to send them a thank you, give ‘em a Twitter shout out or visit their websites.  It’s not a small job at all doing the translation.  We really really appreciate their efforts and help.

Also, we should mention that, being a crowd-sourced, volunteer translation effort, there is a chance that there may be a mistake or two in the mix.  If so, please let us know and we’ll work on tweaking it in the future.  But overall, these guys did an amazing job and we can’t thank them enough!

We do have another update in the works with a few more languages and goodies.  We’ll keep you posted.
